Quiet Years – Nature, Stillness and Near-Realism
This period can be described as calm, nature-focused and at times almost realistic in character. My studio was located at the BLO-Studios in Berlin-Lichtenberg – a small island of alternative culture, surrounded by railway tracks and the abandoned grounds of a former locomotive depot.
It was a place where nature slowly reclaimed the area, creating a quiet oasis far removed from the changing rhythm of the city.
